Ravi Sitapara, PhD

Ravi Sitapara leads Clinical Pharmacology at JUCA Bio, where he provides strategic leadership across clinical pharmacology, PK/PD, biomarker strategy, and dose selection. He works closely with cross-functional teams to translate clinical data into actionable development strategies and advance novel therapies toward clinical and regulatory success.

Prior to joining JUCA Bio, Ravi served as Senior Director of Translational Research at Gossamer Bio, where he played a key role in the development of seralutinib, helping advance the program from early development through Phase 3. His experience spans translational strategy, pharmacology, biomarker development, IND-enabling studies, and cross-functional program leadership across discovery and clinical development.

Ravi holds a PhD in Toxicology, along with a Master’s degree in Pharmacology and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. He is passionate about translating scientific discoveries into medicines that address significant unmet medical needs and bringing together multidisciplinary teams to solve complex drug development challenges.

Outside of work, Ravi enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring San Diego with his wife and two young children. He especially enjoys spending quality time with his family and making the most of San Diego’s active outdoor lifestyle.
